When I read the back of The Veil, I was prepared for yet another Christian historical romance. And I wasn’t sure I really wanted to read this book, even though the person who gave it to me couldn’t stop raving about it. I’m happy to say I was wrong.
The Veil is set in Utah in 1857, in the middle of the Mormon colonies, following the murder of Joseph Smith.
